There was a really nice weather. We did reserve it from "upstairs". As a place it was splended. We had space and green grass all over.

30.03. The little healthy boys are growing in eyes. Mum-Hertta is feeling fine too after that amazing happening what she did. Everything went so fast that poor girl was a little bit lost.
Boys do have already new homes and the new owners are waiting them very much. Couple of months seems to be like eternity sometimes.
26.03. Today morning Pauper's Maccarena gave birth to two dark brindle male puppies. Mum and boys are feeling fine.
09.03. There were lot of Cairns in our monthly meeting! Nice, few new cairn-owners too which is very nice. Though the weather was ugly. It was snowing wet snow and my bald old ladies were freezing. Still the youngsters did have even more warm and feelings were hot.
We are going to have puppies in the end of March anyway.
02.03. Today we had a Open Puppy Show here in Helsinki as judge was Maija Mäkinen. There were eight Cairn-puppies.

15.02. Finally we got Perro's Belarussian championship as officiel. Now he (Pauper's Jazz) is FIN& BLR CH. It's very nice...I think we are going to get some more...
09.02. We had a Cairn-meeting today in one very lovely "dog-island". There were lot of Cairns which was nice to notice. Weather was quite nice just one below zero but it was quite windy so we elder (Emma and Paula) were freezing. Just two skiers made troubbles for some of the dogs; because the snow was deep and under it came two odd "hooks" forward and backward! Someone got to taste them a little..
19.01. Well....now she got IT at last! Hertta got her heat ( Pauper's Maccarena). So if everything go well and deasently puppies should be here in the end of March. Now we have to just be in excitement for two months. Father is Fin Ch Sanderfield One and Only.

I was very dissapointed for the show generally because the winners were so high. Untypical cairns I think. My breed puppy is 31 cm and the winner puppy was atleast 5 cm:s higher than my breed and 7 cm:s higher than second puppy! BOB and BOO came from Sweden and they were too very high!
I wonder how come very many judges nowadays are placing so big cairns? In the standard there are 28 to 31 cm:s! It´s understandable if you get 32-33 but after that I think they are too big. Why many breeders want cairn to be so noble? Cairns aren't noble this is a little terrier not FoxTerriers!
If some British is reading this? Please contact me and tell me more about the situation there. Have your Cairns crown too? Why?

13.10. WOW! What a day we had today in a dogpark. There were atleast twenty Cairns playing together and chasing eachother. And these dogs are awful racists! Always when there came a new big breed dog they were really awful to them; barking and chasing them away. Little monsters!
Day was wonderful cairn day; windy and cold. It´s lovely to watch them enjoying themselves when it´s blowing.

So the first big news is the birth of Kody´s and Frida´s litter on 100402. Three girls and two boys. They seem to look very dark redbrindles. Mom and children are fine. I hope that the genes of the ameircan boy will fill them in future.
